Do French fries contain cholesterol? No, dietary cholesterol comes only from animal based foods. French fries, along with coconut milk (found in laksa) and margarine, have no cholesterol. However, French fries are high in saturated fat, which will increase the production of cholesterol in the body. Hence, eat fried foods sparingly.
