Are you prone to falls?

Maintaining your body balance helps prevent you from falls, especially when your muscles and bones are losing their density as you grow older. Here are 4 steps of easy-to-do exercise to improve your body stability and strength. It may benefit your brain functions at the same time.

1. Standing on one foot. Try balancing on one leg whenever you're standing. Hold onto a chair if needed and gradually work up to standing on your own.

2. Raise your leg backwards and to the left and right, remain the position for 10 seconds. Repeat it 10 times.

3. Walk with a book on your head for a few minutes can improve your posture.

4. Walking heel to toe. Position the heel of one foot just in front of the toes of the other foot. Your heel and toes should touch or almost touch.
