Besides gaining extra weight, you might probably have more serious health issues from prolonged sitting. There are studies showing that  sitting too long may increase the chance of getting cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Expert suggests even for people who exercise regularly, may still have a higher risk of mortality if they’re spending too many hours sitting without moving around often.
