Subjects who have dinner before 9pm or leave a minimum of two hours interval before sleeping had a 20% decrease in breast and prostate cancer risk compared to those who have dinner after 10pm or sleep directly after dinner.
Disturbance in the body clock and decreased glucose processing ability may explain the association between late-night eating and cancer risk.
